PBCSO Forensic Sciences & Technology Facility
This new facility consists of approximately 88,000 SF secure office, crime scene and labs with an 800 – 1000 vehicle impound lot that stores vehicles related to criminal investigations. The new state of the art Forensic Sciences and Technology Facility (FSTF) enables the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to provide leading edge forensic science and crime solving capabilities. The FSTF revolutionizes the crime scene investigation process. As part of the secure campus facility, the 11,424 square foot metal building stores vehicles that are for investigation of high profile cases. The facility has restricted access and is being monitored by cameras, motion detectors, and has card key accessibility. The secure vehicle bays are located inside the metal building which store large vehicles held as evidence.
