The new, two-story, 28,000 SF, Nancy J. Cotterman Center (NJCC) replaced the existing 57 year old facility that is located in Oakland, FL. As a Child Advocacy Center and Rape Crisis Program, the NJCC facility will allow team members to work together to serve the community and provide assessment and intervention services to victims of assault or abuse. Nancy J. Cotterman Center stands as Broward County’s sole Certified Sexual Assault Program, Accredited Children’s Advocacy Center, and Child Protection Team. A LEED Gold facility equipped with a 24-hour hotline and clinic, the center prioritizes safety and comfort.
