Blake Library

 This project, described as the “Crown Jewel” of Martin County’s public facilities is home to the County’s main library and auditorium. Each facility is connected by a common lobby that directs visitors to their desired location. In addition to housing the county’s largest collection, the two-story library serves as the administrative facility for the entire county library system. The auditorium was designed to be utilized as both, a public meeting place and a community center that serves the needs of the residents. Interior features included a complete audio/visual system, extensive computer technology systems and a 48-foot atrium that was visible from all floors.
