The first High School for Palm Beach County in nearly two decades, Dr. Joaquin Garcia High School, spans over 48-acres and accommodate 2,500 student stations. The 280,000 SF facility is designed around a secure, centralized courtyard. The administration and gymnasium are located at the front of the campus to allow for after-hours access by students, parents, and the community. The facility is designed around 21st century small-scale learning communities, multi-modal instruction, and project-based learning. In addition to classrooms and science labs, the high school also contains specialized career and technical education labs for health /nursing, business and art.
