Eduardo Padron Campus Parking Garage
The Eduardo J. Patron Parking Garage houses vehicles for the students and staff of the Miami Dade College. An analysis of existing conditions was performed which included a subsurface investigation. Parking garage renovations included concrete reinforcing and cast-in-place concrete work. Waterproofing was most important, as each of the floor’s ceilings, not only the top floor was addressed. Electronic surveillance including detection and alarm systems were installed. Exterior improvements such as site clearing, deck drains, bumpers, safety lighting and sidewalks were added. The Garage also required replacing proper signage and upgrading fire sprinklers.
