Pirtle Construction headquarters. Constructed with block masonry, cast-in-place concrete, and a pitched standing seam metal roof, the building features a gym and private Class A office space on the first floor, with full office space on the second floor. Its LEED components include a 50% reduction in water use for irrigation and a 40.2% reduction in plumbing water use, improved energy efficiency with reflective roofing, better insulation, and smart lighting controls. The project has earned multiple awards, including the 2007 South Florida Business Journal Office Building of the Year, and several ABC Excellence in Construction awards.
