MDC West Campus Phase III
Miami Dade College West Campus Phase III (3) is part of a multi-phased construction project scope. Package A and Package B encompassed the new shell space and supporting utilities which included a new cooling tower and two new chillers. Package C included the complete interior build out of the new space including various repairs to the existing roof. The interior build out was compromised of more than 48,000 SF of new classrooms with multiple raised floors, a new elevator, maintenance staff and faculty offices. It also included a monumental new stair with an adjacent sitting area for students to congregate. A large visual display wall was constructed next to the monumental new stair providing a unique creative element for visitors to enjoy.
