Miami Dade College West Campus is part of a phased construction project, focused around the development of state-of-the-art science laboratories. The scope included transforming existing space in Building 1000 and 2000 across multiple floors into classrooms, labs, library, and lounges, with adaptable layouts for varied learning activities, alongside glass and movable walls for flexibility. Construction also included new shell space and utilities like a cooling tower and chillers, and a complete interior build-out, including classrooms, raised floors, offices, and a monumental stair and visual display wall. The project also features an automotive school.
