The Miramar Police Headquarters Facility is a LEED Silver-certified, multi-story police station designed to withstand Category 5 hurricanes. It serves as the new headquarters for the Miramar Police Department and includes office spaces for the Police Chief, Assistant Chief, and command staff, as well as the community policing bureau, special operations, support services, and patrol officers. The facility also features spaces for record keeping, conference rooms, a detention area, a community meeting room, a gym, and a garage. Additionally, the first floor includes retail space, with the upper floors dedicated to police operations, and the building is equipped with a full backup generator.
