The Emergency Operations and Communications Center (EOCC) for the City of Palm Beach Gardens, a Design Build project is located between the Police Department and City Hall. Serving as the nerve center for the city, it centralizes law enforcement communications, emergency dispatch, citywide information systems, and the 911 call center. LEED Silver certified, the EOCC features state-of-the-art IT equipment and is designed to withstand winds of up to 205 mph. It includes redundant HVAC, electrical systems, and emergency water and sewer facilities, with backup generators and uninterrupted power systems ensuring operation during hurricanes. The facility complements the adjacent City Hall and police station, and is Palm Beach Gardens’ first city-owned LEED building.
