As the President of Pirtle Construction overseeing the vast territories of both South and Central Florida, Mike Geary has over three decades of construction experience. His journey at Pirtle began as a Project Manager under the guidance of company founder, James B. Pirtle. Mr. Pirtle’s mentorship instilled a deep understanding of the industry and fueled his commitment to leading the company.
Mike’s achievements include the management of over $600 million worth of South Florida’s facilities, showcasing his adeptness in large-scale project management. A dynamic leader with a demonstrated track record of success, Mike leverages his background in business management to guide Pirtle towards sustainable growth and expansive opportunities.
A native of South Florida and Broward College alumni, Mike is well-versed in the construction scene of Florida. His extensive experience in South Florida’s construction landscape equips him with in-depth knowledge of local codes, strong relationships with qualified subcontractors, and a wealth of experience of building best practices. Beyond his leadership role, Mike is a certified General Contractor in the state of Florida, a member of the US Green Building Council, and OSHA-10 hour certified, underscoring his commitment to excellence and safety in the construction domain.
