Richard Rodriguez is the Vice President overseeing the Central Florida region of Pirtle Construction, bringing a background of over three decades in the construction industry. His journey from the role of Project Engineer to Vice President reflects a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry. Richard’s expertise is prominently focused on K-12 education and higher education projects.

Best known for his collaborative and hands-on leadership style, Richard values open communication and fosters a culture of teamwork within Pirtle. His ability to motivate teams has contributed to the successful completion of many projects.

Richard attended Manhattan Technical College where he earned his bachelor’s in Architectural Design and later received his bachelor’s in Business Management from Mercy College. Beyond his professional responsibilities, Richard is deeply engaged in his community. As a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of the US Green Building Council and OSHA 10-hour certified he actively contributes to the sustainable and safe practices in construction. Richard’s commitment extends to community leadership, where he has previously acted as a chairman for the board of Junior Achievement of Central Florida and the Large Academy of Construction.
